Responsibilities
What the role involves
— Act as a supervisor to newly hired and experienced immigration consultants
— Provide direction to the team using extensive knowledge of case matters
— Analyze information to solve problems and implement procedures and approaches
— Perform a wide range of varied case related duties requiring specialized expertise and skills
— Work with clients to perform intake of cases, troubleshooting and establishing case strategy
— Communicate regularly with clients and authorities regarding general and case-related issues
— Assist with the review of case-assessments
— Prioritize and assign cases, monitor workload and outcome
— Take part in the recruiting process for junior immigration consultants

About you
— Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, Paralegal Certification or similar relevant qualification
— At least 4 years of proven immigration experience (Preferably with reference to Germany)
— Deep knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of visas and client processes.
— Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate case issues to supervisor
— Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and at least advanced German
— Ability to thrive to achieve strategic goals and multi-task in a fast-paced, digital startup environment
— A client service mindset, attention to detail and desire to achieve a high level of productivity
— Ability to contribute to positive work environment, effectively collaborate and promote teamwork

How we work
About us
VISARIGHT has around 40 people spread over 6+ countries in different time zones. We’re a distributed team, though we have office in Magdeburg (DE).
We care more about the things you do rather than your set working hours. Most of us work Monday - Friday from 9 UTC to 18 UTC, and ideally, you’ll overlap at least 5 hours with that. We try to be as asynchronous as possible but still feel that we need some “synchronicity” to work well.
