Have you moved? Then you must have the address on the chip of your eID card changed. The address is only changed on the electronic storage medium (chip). No address is printed on the card itself.
You must apply for the address change in person at the registration authority (Bürgeramt). The registration authority will then change your address on the chip of your eID card.
Change your address as soon as possible after your move.

After your move, go to the registration authority (Bürgeramt) in person as soon as possible

Submit the application for the address change on site
