The immigration office in the Zollernalbkreis district is a joint immigration office run by the town of Balingen and the district, which has operated from a single location in Balingen since June 2021. It is responsible for the entire Zollernalbkreis district - with one important exception: if you live in the large district town of Albstadt or in the municipality of Bitz, you don't go here but instead turn to the town of Albstadt's own immigration office. Within the office, casework is divided alphabetically by surname, and there is a dedicated front office for matters such as fingerprints and document collection.
