The immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) of the Rhein-Erft-Kreis is located in Bergheim (Willy-Brandt-Platz 1), but it is not responsible for all of Bergheim: the large district-affiliated towns of Bergheim and Kerpen run their own immigration office and make decisions there themselves. The district immigration office is therefore responsible for the remaining towns of the Rhein-Erft-Kreis – namely Bedburg, Brühl, Elsdorf, Erftstadt, Frechen, Hürth, Pulheim and Wesseling. If you live in Bergheim or Kerpen, you turn to your respective town administration, otherwise to the district office in Bergheim.
