The Ausländerbehörde (immigration office) of the Wesermarsch district is located in Department 32 (Security, Public Order and Road Traffic) at the Kreishaus (district administration building) on Poggenburger Straße 15 in Brake (Unterweser). There is a single location responsible for the entire district – that is, for all residence and immigration matters in the three towns of Brake, Nordenham and Elsfleth as well as the municipalities of Butjadingen, Stadland, Jade, Ovelgönne, Berne and Lemwerder. There are no branch offices in the individual towns. Naturalisation is handled by the same office in the Kreishaus.
