The immigration office of the Celle district (Landkreis Celle) is located in the public order office (Ordnungsamt, Trift 26, Celle) and is just a single point of contact - there are no branch offices. Important: it is only responsible for you if you live in the Celle district but not in the city of Celle itself. If you live in the city of Celle, you turn to the immigration office of the city of Celle. The district therefore handles the other towns, municipalities and joint municipalities (Samtgemeinden) of the district (e.g. Bergen, Wietze, Winsen (Aller), Faßberg, Hambühren as well as the joint municipalities of Eschede, Lachendorf, Flotwedel and Wathlingen). Since 1 January 2026, the accelerated skilled-worker procedure (beschleunigtes Fachkräfteverfahren) is no longer processed here but centrally for the whole state by the central office (Zentralstelle) in Osnabrück.
