The district of Cuxhaven (Landkreis Cuxhaven) is responsible for the municipalities within the district, including Geestland, Schiffdorf, Loxstedt, Beverstedt, Hemmoor, Land Hadeln, Börde Lamstedt, Wurster Nordseeküste and Hagen im Bremischen. If your place of residence is in the city of Cuxhaven itself, then it is not the district but the city of Cuxhaven that is responsible for your immigration matters. The district's immigration office is located at Vincent-Lübeck-Straße 2 in Cuxhaven and is divided into two departments: Admission and Entry, and Residence and Citizenship. Responsibility is split by the municipality where you live.
