The immigration authority for the Nordsachsen district is called the Office for Migration and Immigration Law (Amt für Migration und Ausländerrecht). General immigration matters (residence permits) are handled centrally at the Delitzsch location at Richard-Wagner-Straße 7a; there is also a location in Torgau. The district was formed after the district reform from the former districts of Delitzsch and Torgau-Oschatz, which is why the contact points are spread across the north and south of the district area. For issuing and extending your residence permit, the in-person appointment usually goes through the Delitzsch location.
