The office handles all residence-law matters for foreign nationals across the entire district — asylum procedures are handled separately. The accelerated skilled-worker procedure is not processed on site; it is handled by the state-wide Central Office for Skilled Worker Immigration at the Schleswig-Holstein State Office for Immigration and Refugees in Kiel.
