The Ausländerbehörde of Landkreis Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald is centrally located at a single site in the Landratsamt in Freiburg im Breisgau. There are no separate branch offices of the Ausländerbehörde. Since 1 January 2025, the Ausländerbehörde of the city of Bad Krozingen has been responsible for residents of Bad Krozingen and the districts of Biengen, Hausen, Schlatt, and Tunsel — those residents no longer contact the Landratsamt.
