In Göppingen there are two separate immigration offices with a clear division of responsibility. The immigration office of the city of Göppingen (Geislinger Straße 27) is exclusively responsible for people who live in the city of Göppingen or one of its seven city districts (Bartenbach, Bezgenriet, Faurndau, Hohenstaufen, Holzheim, Jebenhausen, Maitis). All other residents of the district contact the immigration office of the Landratsamt Göppingen (Lorcher Straße 6) — except for residents of the Große Kreisstadt Geislingen, who have their own dedicated office.
