The Ausländerbehörde of Goslar district is centrally located at a single office in Goslar (Klubgartenstraße 6). It is responsible for all municipalities in the Goslar district. Since 2025, the accelerated skilled worker procedure (beschleunigtes Fachkräfteverfahren) is no longer handled entirely at the local level, but instead through the central Ausländerbehörde of the State Reception Authority of Lower Saxony (Landesaufnahmebehörde Niedersachsen) in Osnabrück.
