The Ausländerbehörde of the city of Lahr is located in the northern wing of the town hall at Rathausplatz 4 and, as a district-member city, covers its own area of jurisdiction. It is responsible for residents of Lahr and the municipality of Kippenheim (including the district of Schmieheim). EU citizens and Swiss nationals are not handled by the Ausländerbehörde but by the Bürgerbüro of the city of Lahr.
