In Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis there are two separate immigration authorities. The city of Mosbach operates its own immigration office (Rathaus, Hauptstraße 29) and is only responsible for people who live in Mosbach or the districts of Neckarelz, Diedesheim, Lohrbach, Sattelbach, and Reichenbuch. For all other municipalities in the district and for naturalization applications, the immigration authority of the Landratsamt Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis (Neckarelzer Straße 5, 74821 Mosbach) is exclusively responsible.
