The Foreigners' Affairs Division of the city of Rheinfelden (Baden) is an independent municipal authority within the Mayor's Office (Public Order Office, Division 322) and is responsible for all residence-law matters affecting residents of Rheinfelden. It operates independently of the Landratsamt Lörrach, which handles the remaining municipalities in the district. Naturalization is an exception: for that, the Landratsamt Lörrach is responsible for the entire district, including people with a registered address in Rheinfelden.
