The Mayor's Office (Bürgermeisteramt) of Sinsheim operates its own immigration authority, independent of the immigration office of the Rhein-Neckar district (Rhein-Neckar-Kreis). As a large district town (Große Kreisstadt), Sinsheim handles immigration matters for itself as well as for the municipalities of Angelbachtal and Zuzenhausen. Anyone registered in one of these three municipalities should contact the Bürgermeisteramt Sinsheim directly, not the district office (Landratsamt) in Heidelberg.
