The Ausländerbehörde of the Kreisverwaltung Viersen is responsible for all persons whose primary residence is in one of the district municipalities: Brüggen, Grefrath, Kempen, Nettetal, Niederkrüchten, Schwalmtal, Tönisvorst, or Willich. Those who live in the city of Viersen itself should contact the city's own Ausländerbehörde. Both offices are located in Viersen but are organisationally separate.
