The Ausländerbehörde of Lahn-Dill-Kreis is responsible for all municipalities in the district. Important exception: if your primary residence is in the city of Wetzlar, you need to contact the city of Wetzlar's independent immigration office (Oberbürgermeister der Stadt Wetzlar) and not the district authority. The district headquarters is also located in Wetzlar, at Karl-Kellner-Ring 51.
