§ 10b Cost reimbursement between benefit providers

Cost reimbursement between authorities
If you receive benefits in a facility: The authority at your previous habitual place of residence must reimburse the costs. It reimburses the costs to the authority that stepped in provisionally.
If you leave the facility: The authority at your previous habitual place of residence must continue to bear the costs. This applies if you need new benefits within 1 month after leaving. This only applies if you remain in the area of the authority where the facility is located.
(1) Die nach § 10a Abs. 2 Satz 1 zuständige Behörde hat der Behörde, die nach § 10a Abs. 2 Satz 3 die Leistung zu erbringen hat, die aufgewendeten Kosten zu erstatten.
(2) Verläßt in den Fällen des § 10a Abs. 2 der Leistungsberechtigte die Einrichtung und bedarf er im Bereich der Behörde, in dem die Einrichtung liegt, innerhalb von einem Monat danach einer Leistung nach diesem Gesetz, sind dieser Behörde die aufgewendeten Kosten von der Behörde zu erstatten, in deren Bereich der Leistungsberechtigte seinen gewöhnlichen Aufenthalt im Sinne des § 10a Abs. 2 Satz 1 hatte.
