§ 13 Administrative offence provision

Fine for violations
If you do not submit a notification required under Section 8a: This is an administrative offence (Ordnungswidrigkeit). This also applies if the notification is incorrect, incomplete, or late. It does not matter whether you did it intentionally or by mistake.
The fine can be up to 5,000 euros.
(1) Ordnungswidrig handelt, wer vorsätzlich oder fahrlässig entgegen § 8a eine Meldung nicht, nicht richtig, nicht vollständig oder nicht rechtzeitig erstattet.
(2) Die Ordnungswidrigkeit kann mit einer Geldbuße bis zu fünftausend Euro geahndet werden.
