Application of Previous Law
For persons who enjoyed refugee status under the Geneva Convention before the Residence Act came into force: The previous regulations continue to apply. This concerns Sections 2a and 2b of the Act on Humanitarian Aid Operations in the version applicable until 1 January 2005.
Für Personen, die vor dem Inkrafttreten dieses Gesetzes gemäß § 1 des Gesetzes über Maßnahmen für im Rahmen humanitärer Hilfsaktionen aufgenommene Flüchtlinge vom 22. Juli 1980 (BGBl. I S. 1057) die Rechtsstellung nach den Artikeln 2 bis 34 des Abkommens über die Rechtsstellung der Flüchtlinge genießen, finden die §§ 2a und 2b des Gesetzes über Maßnahmen für im Rahmen humanitärer Hilfsaktionen aufgenommene Flüchtlinge in der bis zum 1. Januar 2005 geltenden Fassung weiter Anwendung. In diesen Fällen gilt § 52 Abs. 1 Satz 1 Nr. 4 entsprechend.
