§ 66 AufenthV: Data system on passport substitute documents

File System for Passport Substitute Documents
The foreigners authority maintains a file system for issued passport substitute documents. The file system contains information about the type, number, date of issue and period of validity of the documents. It serves to monitor and track issued passport substitute documents.
Über die ausgestellten Reiseausweise für Ausländer, Reiseausweise für Flüchtlinge, Reiseausweise für Staatenlose, Notreiseausweise und EU-Rückkehrausweise hat die ausstellende Behörde oder Dienststelle ein Dateisystem zu führen. Die Vorschriften über das Passregister für deutsche Pässe gelten für die in Satz 1 genannten Dokumente mit Ausnahme des EU-Rückkehrausweises entsprechend. Die personenbezogenen Daten eines EU-Rückkehrausweises werden nur so lange wie erforderlich, maximal aber für 180 Tage im Dateisystem gespeichert.
