§ 39 Authorization to Issue Regulations

Authorisation to Issue Regulations
The Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community may, by statutory instrument with the consent of the Bundesrat (Federal Council), issue regulations on:
- the formal requirements for the naturalisation certificate
- the renunciation certificate
- the certificate of acquisition of German nationality by declaration
- the nationality certificate
Das Bundesministerium des Innern und für Heimat wird ermächtigt, durch Rechtsverordnung mit Zustimmung des Bundesrates Regelungen zu erlassen über die formalen Anforderungen an die Einbürgerungs- und die Verzichtsurkunde, die Urkunde über den Erwerb der deutschen Staatsangehörigkeit durch Erklärung sowie den Staatsangehörigkeitsausweis.
