§ 16 Immediate supplement

Immediate supplement for children and young adults
You are entitled to a monthly immediate supplement of 25 euros if:
- you are a minor, or
- you are under 25 years old, unmarried, and living with at least one parent
You must live with your parent in a dwelling within the meaning of Section 42a(2) sentence 2 of the Twelfth Book of the Social Code.
The immediate supplement is paid for the first time for the month of July 2022.
Minderjährige Leistungsberechtigte sowie Leistungsberechtigte, die das 25. Lebensjahr noch nicht vollendet haben, unverheiratet sind und mit mindestens einem Elternteil in einer Wohnung im Sinne von § 42a Absatz 2 Satz 2 des Zwölften Buches Sozialgesetzbuch zusammenleben, haben Anspruch auf einen monatlichen Sofortzuschlag in Höhe von 25 Euro. Der Sofortzuschlag wird erstmalig für den Monat Juli 2022 erbracht.
