In addition to the integration course, there are further integration services. These services come from the federal government and the states.
These are above all:
- Social education counseling (counseling on social matters)
- Migration-specific counseling (counseling specifically for immigrants)
These services should complement the integration course. They are meant to help you find your way in Germany.
The Federal Ministry of the Interior also develops a nationwide integration program. This program records which services for foreigners and ethnic German repatriates already exist at the federal, state, municipal and private level. It also gives recommendations on how to develop these services further.
The states, the municipalities and the commissioners for foreigners take part in this. Religious communities, trade unions, employers' associations, the providers of voluntary welfare services and other interest groups should take part as well.

Bei der Entwicklung des bundesweiten Integrationsprogramms sowie der Erstellung von Informationsmaterialien über bestehende Integrationsangebote werden die Länder, die Kommunen und die Ausländerbeauftragten von Bund, Ländern und Kommunen sowie der Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Aussiedlerfragen beteiligt. Darüber hinaus sollen Religionsgemeinschaften, Gewerkschaften, Arbeitgeberverbände, die Träger der freien Wohlfahrtspflege sowie sonstige gesellschaftliche Interessenverbände beteiligt werden.
