§ 73 AufenthV: Notifications by the nationality and certification authorities under Section 15 of the Federal Expellees Act

Notifications by Nationality Authorities
The nationality authorities and the certification authorities under Section 15 of the Federal Expellees Act notify the foreigners authority of:\
- The acquisition of German nationality\
- The loss of German nationality\
- The issuance of a certificate as a late repatriate (Spätaussiedler)\
These notifications are important because the right of residence ceases upon acquisition of German nationality.
(1) Die Staatsangehörigkeitsbehörden teilen den Ausländerbehörden mit
- 1.den Erwerb der deutschen Staatsangehörigkeit durch den Ausländer,
- 2.die Feststellung der Rechtsstellung als Deutscher ohne deutsche Staatsangehörigkeit,
- 3.den Verlust der Rechtsstellung als Deutscher und
- 4.die Feststellung, dass eine Person zu Unrecht als Deutscher, fremder Staatsangehöriger oder Staatenloser geführt worden ist. Die Mitteilung nach Satz 1 Nr. 2 entfällt bei Personen, die mit einem Aufnahmebescheid nach dem Bundesvertriebenengesetz eingereist sind.
(2) Die Bescheinigungsbehörden nach § 15 des Bundesvertriebenengesetzes teilen den Ausländerbehörden die Ablehnung der Ausstellung einer Bescheinigung nach § 15 Abs. 1 oder 2 des Bundesvertriebenengesetzes mit.
