Domestic workers of posted persons
Approval can be granted if you work as a domestic worker for a person who:
- Temporarily works in Germany for their employer or a company based abroad, or
- Hired you under the Vienna Conventions on diplomatic or consular relations
Requirements:
- The person employed you in their household for at least 1 year before entry
- You care for a child under 16 years or a household member in need of care
Duration: The approval is valid for the duration of the stay of the person you work for. However, no longer than 5 years.
Die Zustimmung zur Ausübung einer Beschäftigung als Hausangestellte oder Hausangestellter bei Personen, die
- 1.für ihren Arbeitgeber oder im Auftrag eines Unternehmens mit Sitz im Ausland vorübergehend im Inland tätig werden oder
- 2.die Hausangestellte oder den Hausangestellten auf der Grundlage der Wiener Übereinkommen über diplomatische Beziehungen oder über konsularische Beziehungen eingestellt haben, kann erteilt werden, wenn diese Personen vor ihrer Einreise die Hausangestellte oder den Hausangestellten seit mindestens einem Jahr in ihrem Haushalt zur Betreuung eines Kindes unter 16 Jahren oder eines pflegebedürftigen Haushaltsmitgliedes beschäftigt haben. Die Zustimmung wird für die Dauer des Aufenthaltes der Person, bei der die Hausangestellten beschäftigt sind, längstens für fünf Jahre erteilt.
