§ 22a BeschV: Employment of nursing assistants

Employment of nursing assistants
Approval can be granted if you want to work as a nursing assistant in Germany.
Requirements:
- You meet the federal or state law requirements for a nursing assistant role
- You have a state-recognized training in a nursing assistant role under federal or state law, or
- The responsible authority has confirmed the equivalence of your professional qualification acquired abroad
Note: The priority check under § 9 BeschV does not apply here.
Die Zustimmung kann Ausländerinnen und Ausländern für eine inländische Beschäftigung als Pflegehilfskraft erteilt werden, wenn sie die durch Bundes- oder Landesrecht bestimmten Voraussetzungen zur Ausübung einer Pflegehilfstätigkeit erfüllen, und
- 1.sie über eine nach bundes- oder landesrechtlichen Vorschriften geregelte, staatlich anerkannte Ausbildung in einer Pflegehilfstätigkeit verfügen oder
- 2.die nach den Regelungen der Länder zuständige Stelle die Gleichwertigkeit ihrer im Ausland erworbenen Berufsqualifikation zu einer Ausbildung nach Nummer 1 festgestellt hat. § 9 findet keine Anwendung.
