§ 37 Exemption from consent requirement in other cases

Your visa does not need approval from the foreigners authority (deviating from Section 31(1) nos. 1 and 2) if you only want to carry out activities in Germany that do not count as employment.
This refers to activities under Section 30 nos. 1 to 3 of the Employment Ordinance. Self-employed activities that correspond to these activities are also included.
Abweichend von § 31 Abs. 1 Satz 1 Nr. 1 und 2 bedarf das Visum nicht der Zustimmung der Ausländerbehörde für Ausländer, die im Bundesgebiet lediglich Tätigkeiten, die nach § 30 Nummer 1 bis 3 der Beschäftigungsverordnung nicht als Beschäftigung gelten, oder diesen entsprechende selbständige Tätigkeiten ausüben wollen.
