§ 62d Appointment of a Legal Representative
This text has been rewritten in plain language (B1 level). It does not replace the official version of the law.
When a decision is made about detention pending deportation or departure custody, you receive a lawyer. The court appoints the lawyer for you. You do not have to bear the costs yourself.
The lawyer represents your interests in court. They check whether the detention is lawful.
